But that’s not all—Two River Mushroom is about to launch its new line of award-winning organic mushroom broth! Soon to be available in local stores, it’s a product that reflects the farm’s commitment to quality and holistic health.
A Taste of Farm-to-Table
Looking ahead, Two River Mushroom is expanding its offerings. In the coming spring and summer seasons, they’ll be hosting Farm-to-Table dinner events featuring renowned chefs. A community table for 50 people will allow guests to dine in the heart of the farm, where chefs will use fresh herbs, vegetables, and mushrooms harvested right on-site to create delicious, farm-to-fork meals. The outdoor kitchen, which will feature live music, cooking classes, and fire pits, is sure to become a beloved space for both food lovers and the local community.
A Look Behind the Scenes
During the tour, Jon and KC took us inside the farm’s operations, showing the careful process behind growing mushrooms. From mixing organic sawdust and soy hulls to inoculating the mushroom blocks and monitoring the climate-controlled grow rooms, every step of production is carefully managed to ensure the highest quality mushrooms. With different mushroom varieties like oyster, lion’s mane, and chestnut, the farm is able to supply a range of flavors to local chefs and home cooks alike.
